These terms apply when you download, buy or use Speakpad. By using Speakpad you agree to them.
Free trial
You can use every feature of Speakpad free for 7 days. After that, a license is needed to keep dictating.
Your license
Buying Speakpad gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the current major version (version 1) on up to 2 Macs that you own or control. Updates within version 1 are included. You may not resell, share or publish your license key, or copy, modify or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which also handles applicable sales tax. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
AI polish
AI polish is optional and uses your own Anthropic API key. Your use of it is also subject to Anthropic's terms, and any charges for it are between you and Anthropic.
No warranty
Speakpad is provided "as is". We work hard to make it accurate and reliable, but speech recognition can make mistakes, so please check important text before sending it. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free or work without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to Speakpad is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
